Santa(s) Helps Children in The Local Area!
On Sunday the 6th December 2009, 235 Santas ran along Eastbourne seafront to help raise money for great charities, The Myasthenia Gravis Association and Heart Radio’s Have a Heart campaign!
The run was fantastic fun with a really great atmosphere from both the runners and the general public all along the route. An amazing £14,000 was raised for the two charities and a great time was had by all!
To find out how the money is being spent, please spend some time looking at the charities websites and maybe even find out how you can get involved!
So why am I telling you this? Well, we were there! One of the runners on this bright sunny day was Bio Nutter Simon! In total he managed to raise around £165 for the Have A Heart Charity! If you think this is a worthwhile cause – or indeed are just impressed he managed to run 3 miles without keeling over – his donation page is still open, and I know he would be grateful for any further donations to these great causes!
Below are just a few photo’s taken on the day:

Ready for the off!

Why a hill to start?

Nearly there now!
Have a great Christmas everyone and a Healthy New Year!!!
