As time goes by No comments yet

It’s really hard to believe, but it has now been two years since Bio Nutrition made its debut on the world wide web. Where does the time go? It seems like only yesterday that I was writing a blog post to tell you all about the new site.

We’ve seen quite a few changes over the last two years, as well. Since launch day – which was actually 1 July 2008, so I’m a little late with this blog post – our main site has undergone quite a few changes, in response to feedback from customers. We’ve seen a number of changes in design, as well as changes in functionality – all of which have been done in our ongoing effort to make the site as easy to use, and simple to navigate, as possible.

We’ve also added more content to the site as we’ve gone along, to the point where now for each product there’s detailed information about what the ingredients can be used for, as well as full formulations. Buying from the site has been made as quick and simple as possible, but without sacrificing security.

Social media has also grown significantly in the last two years, and we’ve tried to keep on top of that too. Bio Nutrition has a Twitter feed (www.twitter.com/bionutrition), where we publish quick little snippets that we hope you’ll find interesting, as well as a Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/bionutrition) and a Facebook Group (www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=74207770224). Join any of these (or all of them) and you’ll also get access to exclusive discounts and special offers.

And we’re also contributing back to the world around us with our membership of the 1% For The Planet organisation. This is an initiative where member companies commit to giving 1% of their gross turnover per year to environmental causes. So by buying our products, you directly contribute to improving the world around us. This year, we’ve given our contribution to Surfers Against Sewage – being based on the sunny South Coast, clean beaches and seawater are something that we feel strongly about.

So, in all, it has been a busy two years. Roll on the next two!

Give The Gift Of Health! No comments yet

Sorry to start talking about this now, but with the festive season fast approaching I thought I would just do a quick post to let you all know that we’ve now added some new functionality to our website.

From today you will be able to buy the special people in your lives a Bio Nutrition ‘Gift Certificate‘! It can be for any amount you like from £5 (even £12.62 if you like!)

They can use the whole amount in one go, or the online system can keep a track of what is used and spread the amount over several orders. It really is up to them!

So, are you stuck for a gift idea but know the person uses supplements? Why not give them a Bio Nutrition Gift Certificate and give the gift of health?

Remember, we also donate 1% of our turnover to environmental causes, through the 1% For The Planet initiative.

Happy shopping

Bio Nutrition on the web for the very first time No comments yet

At last, the greatly anticipated and much requested Bio Nutrition website went live for the first time on 1 July 2008!

The website (which can found at www.bionutrition.co.uk) is a full ecommerce web solution that showcases all of the products currently available from Bio Nutrition Health Products Ltd, with more being added all the time. You can browse through the product categories (helpfully grouped into health issues such as Bone & Joint Health, Detox & Anti-Ageing, etc), or use the powerful search function to find the products that you want.

Each product page gives full details of the formulation, as well as helpful information about the major ingredients and the health uses that they are put to. You can check out the current bestsellers, and also take a look at what products other customers have been buying.

In tandem with launching the website, we’ve also updated the packaging of the products to make them much more appealing – and the new pots that we’ve introduced are far easier to open, and more resilient when being sent through the postal system.

Please take a look at the site and let me know what you think – it’s early days and while we’ve worked hard on the look, feel and functionality of the site I’m sure that not everything is 100% right yet. If there’s something that you think is missing (or if you find an error or a bug anywhere), please let me know so that I can continue to develop the site and make it as good as it can be.
